We are a legal tech scale-up, changing the way copyright is protected online. Our talented team come from various backgrounds and are all united with the goal of protecting photographer’s copyrights online. We collaborate with world leading image agencies and professional photographers to monitor and track down unauthorised use of photographs on the internet and ensure the artists receive the compensation they are owed.
As a case manager at Copyright Agent, you will work in a mixed team of case managers across six european markets. You will work in the UK market, handling copyright infringement cases for our U.K client. The position is for 12 hours per week (three, 4-hour shifts per week).
You will be responsible for handling and processing potential copyright violations on the internet - you will handle all communications with our clients and their counter-parties and you will work primarily through email and telephone communication.
An average day looks like:
Opening new cases via email alerting our counterparties to copyright infringements on their websites
Following up existing cases by telephone to answer questions.
Pursuing compensation claims with counterparties
Feeding back issues or updates to our clients
Key competencies:
A native English speaker - whether you sound like Danny Dyer or Johnny Vegas, it doesn’t matter!
We expect that you have a background within sales (including cold calling) or a legal position. You must have experience making outbound telephone calls.
A calm and confident phone manner is essential for this role.
A structured approach to work and a sense of personal responsibility - we do expect that you are interested in expanding the market.
You enjoy working to targets and have a hunter mindset.
A curious mindset, with a “I don’t know but I will find out” mentality.
This position is office-based and you will need to use your own laptop. For the right candidate, the start date is ASAP.
