Job description

 As a Front-end developer at WasteHero, your daily assignments will be the following:

• Develop new features to solve real-life customer problems

• Produce visual elements to our software application

• Collaborate with designers, closing the gap between graphical design and technical implementation

• Work with product managers and engineers

• Investigate existing UI/UX and improve future features    

• Improve and scale our platform as we continue to grow our business

• Set your mark on products and new launches - your projects are your responsibility

Responsibilities

To be a good fit for this role, you should enjoy accuracy and strive to always achieve the best possible outcome. Your responsibilities will be:

• Being an active part of the cloud department

• Collaborate and engage with other team members

• Develop new user-facing features 

• Implement scalable features which can interact with multiple products 

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Work with software features, project structures, APIs integrations and microservices

• Take part in code review and peer review

Requirements

You are a curious, self-motivated and communicative person who has a strong desire to learn and ready to join a startup with few formal procedures and limits. You should be motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming.

• 3+ years of experience working with large scale software applications

• Industry experience working with front-end development, preferably ReactJS

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar

• Expertise with client-side JavaScript and HTML based UI development

• 3+ years industry experience with languages: HTML, JS (JSx, ECMA), CSS(SCSS)

• 3+ years industry experience with services/frameworks: ReactJS, eslint, Apollo Client, GraphQL, Material UI, Redux, Formik or similar form plugin

• Understand how to interact closely with product people (written and verbal)
