Backlink Builder is an SaaS startup founded in 2019 aiming to become the #1 all-in-one SEO platform. Our first product is a tool for off-page optimization, tackling the largest unsolved problem in SEO. Companies seeking for growth use the tool to get more traffic to their websites by doing outreach at scale. We’re VC backed and looking to grow our team to fully flesh out our product offering.

Full-Stack Engineer (Helsinki/Remote)

We are currently seeking a highly-skilled full-stack JavaScript developer to accelerate our product development. As our first hire, you'll play a significant role in setting the direction of Backlink Builder’s product, company, and culture.

Our product consists of a simple to use Web UI and a proprietary backend that crawls and analyzes vast amounts of data.

You'll ideally:

• Have bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or a related field

• Have 2+ years software engineering experience

• Have experience with our tech stack: React/Apollo on the frontend, and Node/Lambda/Kubernetes on the backend with an SQL database

• Be able to write clean + maintainable code with attention to end user experience, but also be able to ship quickly + scrappily when the occasion calls for it

• Be comfortable shipping features end-to-end, from defining the product spec to deploying to production

• Have experience with functional programming in a test-driven continuous deployment environment
