Do you want to help us expand our platform to Sweden by writing, editing and managing content for our new Swedish site? Then you might be our new Swedish communications officer intern! We need someone who is able to plan, edit and produce new content – you don’t need to be a legal expert, but you do have to be fluent in written Swedish.
Legal Desk is a Danish Legaltech startup that provides automated online legal services for both private and corporate customers. We have around 300.000 visits on Legaldesk.dk each month, which is why we are very focused on providing our users with the legal knowledge and help they need.
This is where you come in. We are expanding our platform to Sweden, which means we will have to produce new content for customers speaking a different language than we are used to.
Therefore we are looking for a Swedish speaking communications officer intern, who can help us plan, edit and produce new content for our new Swedish platform. Content is key in our marketing approach, and our goal is to always be thought leaders within any given legal area.
What you could be doing during a normal work day:
Creating content for our Swedish site
Helping our law students in writing content
Editing and proofreading content
Finding new keywords to fill out content gaps
Helping create the product forms that our users fill out
Various ad hoc tasks regarding communication and marketing
You will be part of a young, ambitious and continuously growing team of 20 passionate people (and one equally ambitious office dog), who are all driven by our mutual desire to expand and improve our platform. We move quickly from idea to execution and everybody contributes with their professional insight and ideas.
We have a very informal tone at the office and a team-based approach to problem-solving. This is also why we prioritize social events like team dinners, Friday beers and annuals trips to warmer places.
During the pandemic most of us have worked from home. As a workplace, we’re used to communicating through Slack (basically an extended chat fora), so working remotely has been surprisingly smooth so far.
The position is a full-time unpaid internship, and you will be working from our office in the center of Copenhagen, located right next to Copenhagen Central Station.
We imagine that you have an education within the field of communication, marketing or something third that we haven’t thought about. The most important factor is your ability to communicate law in a way that makes sense to non-lawyers.
Need-to-have qualifications:
Relevant education within the field of communications, marketing or something similar
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish
The ability to communicate complicated material in an easy-to-understand manner
Detail oriented and thorough
Proactive and don’t mind asking questions.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
Some understanding of written and spoken Danish.
Send your motivated application and resume no later than December 15, 2020. We will conduct interviews on a continuous basis. If you have any questions about the position, please feel free to send an email to Christian (in English).
