Dreamdata is looking for a Financial Controller to evolve our finance function At Dreamdata we believe that B2B companies should be able to take their product to market in the most optimal way possible. We insist that everyone should have access to clear actionable analysis that enables them to execute their go to market without waste.
We’re looking for our first hire in the finance department. We are looking for a financial controller who is ready to take on the task of automating our financial processes and will be super excited to work with the leadership team to analyse and plan our financial situation.
As a Financial Controller in Dreamdata, you are going to become a key team player and your role will be to ensure that Bookkeeping, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow are reported correctly and the reporting processes are followed.
Your stakeholders will mainly be the CEO and the rest of the Management Team.
Key Responsibilities
Your area of responsibility will be comprehensive and among other things include:
You are ready to take full responsibility for our financial operations including managing our external service partners that currently handles bookkeeping and salary
Your approach is to push for automation to minimize the work that needs to be done
You will fully own our financial planning being responsible for modelling our future scenarios
You will be responsible for our financial reporting - both towards our leadership team and towards our board and investors
You will work closely with our auditing partner to ensure we comply with regulatory requirements including corporate tax and VAT
You will be responsible that our finance relevant policies are in place and adhered to.
Who we are looking for
A person that can take the lead and help us build the finance department and be able to assess the current structure, software and processes, and based on that challenge and optimize the current set up.
We need a person that can work with an agile business culture, where things tend to change rapidly. You will have a lot of stakeholder management, where you are expected to accommodate requirements from different key stakeholders.
You hold a Diploma, Bachelor or Master within Finance, Auditing or equivalent education.
As you will work with colleagues from just about anywhere in the world, fluency in English is a prerequisite.
You have drive and work well under pressure and with tight deadlines. You are able to adapt to a changing environment and think outside the box with uncompromising integrity. You possess excellent analytical and reporting skills, and you are capable of combining an eye for detail with a holistic overview.
