Do you want to be a part of creating the future of virtual events? ZOAN is looking for an experienced Project Manager for one of its flagship projects. ZOAN is an award-winning XR studio based in Helsinki, Finland. Our global team of professionals creates real-time 3D to help companies improve their processes. We build amazing virtual experiences and create the future for all of us.

You will manage a team of developers and artists who work on one of the company’s newest projects — a platform that allows hosting virtual events and concerts. The pilot project was the May Day gig by JVG that got over 1.4 M views and has been shortlisted on the VideoTech Innovation Awards in the Category 'Live-Streaming Initiative of the Year.’

The project manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a detailed project schedule and work plan along with monitoring the progress. An ideal candidate for this role is able to estimate resources needed to reach objectives and manage these resources effectively.

Requirements:

• Solid experience as a Project Manager or a Producer in software projects, ideally in game development, virtual reality (VR), or Architecture (3D Modeling)

• Technical fluency and familiarity with VR, motion capture, live streaming and game engine technologies, augmented reality, game development or similar industries would be a strong advantage

• Ability to communicate efficiently project status, roadmaps and results to team members and stakeholders

• Experience of planning and overseeing several projects through the full life cycle

• Experience of managing multicultural and cross-functional teams would be a plus

• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

• Fluency in written and spoken English; knowledge of Finnish would be a plus

Project length: 3 months, with the possibility of extending it to a permanent position
