Role
You role is to lead our team in building our mFarming brand. Our unique and innovative digital platform, our Africa pioneer experience, our Nokia Top Innovator background, and our awards help you strengthen existing and forge new strategic partnerships with multi-national businesses and organisations.
You have worked with corporate sales teams and understand B2B sales. Culture gaps with Africa don't take you by surprise. Solving a grand challenge sparks your passion. You communicate with ease, and enjoy the adventure of creating a big platform business from a startup. You want to win!
Your Responsibilities Include
Designing and implementing our marketing strategy (including on-platform engagement)
Guiding our social media marketing
Communicating benefits for different user groups, from the World's richest to the poorest
Presenting at (online) events & conferences in Africa
Guiding and inspiring our product team with market feedback
Forging exciting new partnerships
Leveraging our more-than-business purpose with balance
Providing thought-leadership for political discussions where our business operates
Your Background
You have several years of work experience in leading a company's marketing and brand building. With your extensive marketing experience, possibly as an earlier CMO, you may help us even with your part-time contribution. A combination of salary and stock options suits you as well.
