Carbonara is seeking an experienced digital marketer with primary focus on mobile app marketing and secondary focus on PPC and Social Media advertising. We hope to find someone with whom we work well and consider developing a long term consulting arrangement. If there is interest, there may also be the opportunity to develop this role into a full-time position. And it should be noted that this role can be REMOTE.


Carbonara is seeking an experienced digital marketer with primary focus on mobile app marketing and secondary focus on PPC and Social Media advertising. Today, we are running campaigns in the aforementioned areas and gaining some results, however we believe that there is much work to do and that we can unlock plenty more opportunities.

We are seeking a candidate that can begin immediately in a consulting role. The consultant would review and critique our campaigns, taking over our efforts and immediately making improvements. Then the consultant would develop an action plan for additional development of our digital marketing efforts including keyword research, campaign development and planning, budget planning and management, weekly reporting, and overall ongoing management of our digital marketing campaigns. Our team will supply and collaborate on content creation as needed. 


Job Functions

This role will sit within the marketing team and lead our current efforts in:

  • App Store and Play Store Search Ads

  • Google Adwords, including landing page development

  • Social Media Advertising - Instagram and Facebook

The role will additionally lead our efforts in ASO and SEO, driving our keyword strategy and implementing best practices thereof. This marketer will:

  • Perform market research and keyword analysis 

  • Conduct A/B testing of ads, imagery, landing pages, copy, etc. 

  • Define, test and measure the results of initiatives, and report this to the team

  • Collaborate with the creative team for the production and localization of content and assets such as icons, screenshots or videos 

Minimum requirements include:

  • 2 years' hands-on digital marketing experience managing paid campaigns (Apple Search Ads, Facebook, Instagram, Google Adwords) 

  • 2 years within mobile app marketing industry 

  • Experience managing budgets and comfortable with quarterly, monthly and weekly budget setting 

  • Good knowledge of App Store Optimisation (ASO) 

  • Strong command of English and 2 additional European languages highly preferred. We have a strong preference for multilingual candidates and multi-country experience would be a big plus

  • Strong interest in the hospitality industry and experience a plus

  • Experience using App reporting tools such as SensorTower, AppAnnie, and others

  • Highly familiar with App Store Connect and Play Store Console to make changes and optimizations as needed
