We're looking for someone who can manage and scale our Google Ads channels and establish new paid lead gen sources with confidence (think: Twitter, Quora, Reddit, … ). You'll be the kind of person who is fearless when it comes to experimenting with new approaches, who knows when to stop things, or when to put fuel on the fire and get campaigns to scale
If you're looking at a performance marketing job I'll bet you're all about efficiency, so I'll keep this short: scale paid marketing channels (Google Ads and New Channels), manage big budgets, and run lead gen ads that perform like crazy.
We're looking for someone who can manage and scale our Google Ads channels and establish new paid lead gen sources with confidence (think: Twitter, Quora, Reddit, … ).
You'll be the kind of person who is fearless when it comes to experimenting with new approaches, who knows when to stop things, or when to put fuel on the fire and get campaigns to scale. You’ll be 110% focused on results, and results only.
You’ll have a good sense for which content performs well on paid ads (and also what doesn’t) and you have a good eye for new ideas and concepts that you translate into briefings that our creative people can execute on. At the same time you work with meticulous attention to detail when it comes to ad operations, you keep a cool head even when things get stressful, and have a hyper-analytical mindset when it comes to evaluating performance and working with numbers.
There are a couple of fun parts about this role for performance marketers:
The first part is that you can experiment widely: you'll have a big budget to play with (we're talking a minimum experience with budgets of $2M a year, while making sure your CAC is as low as possible of course).
The second part is, as we are constantly opening new markets, so you'll have localisation with which to experiment. You’ll work together with country marketing managers who know all of the nitty gritty things about a market, and will provide you with input for paid social ads to roll out.
The last part that you'll enjoy is that we'll have a content and brand studio of which you will be the triple AAA tier customer. This includes everything from localised copywriters, a content lead, visual and motion designers, as well as a video producer. There is a Director of Brand & Comms who will run this part of the business, so you'll be rest assured that you'll get the assets you need when you need them.
Deep knowledge of paid marketing channels (Google’s Youtube, Display, Search and also Facebook, LinkedIn and so forth)
Master all things spreadsheets, pivot tables that sort of thing
Have a highly analytical mindset when it comes to evaluating success metrics (all your ROAS, ROI, LTV, CAC, CPL … )
Test new creatives all the time, with an ability to test out new ideas (and know where to get inspiration)
Have an unemotional relationship to and a good eye for direct response creatives, and know to make rational decisions purely based on performance (not necessarily on what looks nice)
Communicate well in English
Can write SQL and have some experience with relational databases
You can code a bit (Python, Javascript)
Have worked the whole performance marketing machine before including tracking, attribution, automation
Have experience in forecasting
You love challenges and have the right mindset for it
Can perform under pressure
Collaborate well across a full growth team
Are someone they'd have a coffee with (virtual or not!) ☕️

Work in IT (moms for you!)

Catered/subsidised lunch in our HQ in CPH, London and Berlin offices

Working at Pleo means you're working on something very exciting: the future of work. Through fintech we've seen a way to impact how people work; we think company spending should be delegated to all employees and teams, that it should be as automated as possible, and that it should drive a culture of responsible spending. Being HQ'd out of Copenhagen means we're inspired by sensible things like a good work-life balance, which permeates throughout our office. We also hire smart, nice people (no room for brilliant jerks).
Sometimes, people write nice things about us like when we raised our Series B, for example:https://techcrunch.com/2019/05/14/pleo-series-b/
