An award-winning XR studio from Helsinki is looking for a part-time project manager. The selected applicant will be managing the team of developers who work on VR educational projects (simulations). The project manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a detailed project schedule and work plan along with monitoring the progress. An ideal candidate for this role is able to estimate resources needed to reach objectives and manage these resources effectively.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Project Manager in software projects, ideally in game dev, VR, or Architecture (3D Modeling) - Technical fluency and familiarity with VR, motion capture, live streaming and game engine technologies, augmented reality, game development or similar industries would be a strong advantage

• Able to communicate efficiently project status, roadmaps and results to team members and stakeholders.

• Experience of planning and overseeing several projects through the full life cycle

• Experience of managing multicultural and cross-functional teams would be a plus

• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills 

• Comfortable working in fast paced environment

• Fluency in written and spoken English and Finnish

Employment type: part-time to full-time; Ideally, you could start as a project freelancer as soon as possible, with the possibility to extend to a permanent position later.

Project length: 3 months, with the possibility of extending it to a permanent position
