ParkShare is a fast growing startup in need of a Front-end Developer Intern who can help us develop interfaces and become part of our journey. We are looking for a person with the right technical skillset and a curiosity to learn, as working in a startup can be both challenging and thrilling when you share the passion, motivation and optimism of building up a company and a new web and mobile application with your colleagues.
ParkShare is a sharing economy platform for parking spaces, where private people as well as companies, can rent out their parking spaces when they don’t need it and thereby earn an extra income. At the same time, the parking spaces become more easily accessible for drivers, who need parking. The Front-end Development team is therefore essential in ParkShare as they are developing the web-platform and in particular the web and mobile application our services are built on.
As our new Front-end Developer Intern, you will be helping us update and develop the future versions of the web and mobile applications, but there will also be tasks of testing and maintaining. We are a strong believer in everyone contributing and having ideas with value. We want to implement ideas and see them come true and grow. Therefore, you can expect that the lines of code you write during your internship at ParkShare will actually be launched and used in the real world.
The perfect candidate is:
Independent and driven. Some tasks are done independently but often while working in teams, so it’s important that you thrive in these conditions.
Good social and collaboration skills since we use a lot of teamwork and work with SCRUM.
Confident in English, as ParkShare is an international workplace so the main language we speak here is English.
Studying Web Development, Software Engineering, Multimedia Design, or something similar. Therefore, it doesn’t matter if you come from a university, VIA, or any other business academy, as long as you are a student.
Living in Denmark as the office is located in Aarhus and the internship will take place here.

We are located in The Kitchen in Aarhus, which is the city’s biggest community for entrepreneurs, and we work here alongside many other amazing startups. It’s an international and diverse workplace, where knowledge-sharing, networking and fun is an essential part of work life. Every Friday we have a joint breakfast with the other startups in The Kitchen to catch up and hygge together. Teamwork and team spirit are also very important in ParkShare. Therefore, we have at least one social activity each month, where we spend a couple of hours just having fun together with games, hygge and snacks. We believe, this makes us a stronger and more connected team.
Working hours are generally 8-16, but we are flexible in terms of hours per week and will adjust it to your study program’s schedule. This also means that if you already have a student job on the side, we will work with you to find a schedule that fits it all.
