Photographers and copywriters repeatedly have their work copied and used online without a proper license. This threatens their livelihoods to the core, as they never receive payment for their work. It's not fair at all and - more importantly - it's breaking the law. This has to change, and that’s where we come in. But we need your help to do it.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join the team in our Copenhagen headquarters.
This is a great opportunity to work with a rapidly evolving product built by a skilled and diverse team. You’ll be the first employee fully dedicated to marketing and content efforts, working closely with the Product and Development teams. You will be in charge of defining and leading our marketing efforts across the Copyright Agent brand, with scalability in mind.
But what does Copyright Agent do? Right. Maybe you haven’t heard of us before. By the way, that’s one of the things you need to help us do better!
Basically, we help owners of image and text material uphold their copyright online. This involves detecting when other people use their material without paying for it and afterward ensuring the rightful compensation.
That’s the essence of what we do. We are an expanding team of 35+ employees of multiple nationalities working together from our headquarters in Copenhagen. Back to you!
Here are some of the things you’ll be doing:
Defining our marketing & content strategies together with our CPO, and setting up whatever tools and systems you need to execute these
Managing all of our paid, owned, and earned advertising efforts
Producing and publishing content for all our channels. This includes shaping campaigns, budget management, audience monitoring, etc - all with support from our other teams
Maintaining and building our client and employee knowledge base
Tracking performance on every piece of communication we do
A/B testing landing pages
Cultivate our relationships with press and influencers
Setting up processes to constantly learn and optimize from the data coming in
You are:
Preferably a T-shaped marketer (= a generalist with one or two areas you excel within)
Living by a 'build, measure, learn'-mindset
Strong, English writing skills
Data-driven and know your way around metrics and the tools providing these
Eager to learn and develop your skills
Considering problems as opportunities
English-speaking, if not native then fluent both in speaking and writing
Located in Copenhagen

As mentioned above, you’ll be the go-to-person for everything marketing & communication-related, with close ties to the product development team. You will be able to shape your own role and eventually build a team around you. We don’t focus on whether or not you have the ‘correct’ education or professional experience.
