Glostars is a Finnish start-up aiming to make photography a rewarding hobby or profession for people around the world. Launched in June 2020, we have already acquired users from 30+ countries. Currently available on Android, we've been rapidly introducing new features for creators around the world to experience pure photography as well as a sense of challenge, networking & community. We're now looking for an energetic Android Developer to boost our development process! And that might be you :)

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

• Experienced in Java based Android app development

• Maintain best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs

• Knowledgeable in RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services

• Write clear, concise and well documented code

• Proficiency in git

• Image/video processing

REQUIREMENTS

• Identifies as an entrepreneur and a problem solver

• With 2+ years of Android app development experience

• Self-organized and able to meet deadlines

• Comfortable in remote working environment

• Good communication skills in English
