Who we are looking for?

At the moment, we are looking for a part time (15-20 hours per week) legal assistant, to join our legal team situated in Copenhagen as soon as possible. You will help us in most areas of our legal compliance work.

Skills and experience:

We believe that, to be successful in this role, you are a law student with the basic legal skills in place. Ideally, you are therefore 1-3 years into your legal studies.

As a person, we are looking for someone who is keen on taking a business oriented approach on all legal tasks.

Since our work language is English, we expect that you will be fluent in the language.

At the same time, as many laws and regulations are only available in Danish, you must be able to speak Danish fluently.

What your day will look like:

Your work days will vary very much! Some days you will be drafting employment contracts in the morning and responding to customer requests and questions containing legal aspects in the afternoon. Other days you may spend digging into a legal topic in order to provide advice to the company management. Penneo is listed on Nasdaq First North Growth Market, and you will be involved in the tasks related to insider trading etc. Finally, Penneo is expanding into new markets and you will therefore also be involved in legal research regarding laws and regulation in new possible markets. Every day you will get the chance to develop your legal skills in a fast paced and international company. Of course, having lunch together with colleagues or sharing the occasional beer after work or during Friday bars is also part of the deal!  

Who will be in your team? 

You will be part of the legal team and will work closely together with our Operations Manager & Legal Counsel, Christian Trolle, whose focus is business oriented, while still keeping Penneo a fully compliant and responsible company in all legal matters.
