Our company headquarter is located in Copenhagen, Denmark, but you can work remote and build your team around you.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

• Build a stellar tech organization from scratch. Balancing the capacity between an internal product development team and external service providers.The product has been and is currently built by an external team

• Build and lead rapidly growing programming language-agnostic team that consists of senior engineers

• Function as a bridge between your tech team and the commercial team in Copenhagen

• Understand the commercial vision and customer needs and translate this into a scalable and flexible architecture with newest (relevant) technologies

• Ensure system security, monitoring, incident management, technical support, product speed etc.

• Deliver on the product roadmap

• Proactively suggest product improvements and integration of new tech such as AI and ML to improve the value proposition

• Get your hands dirty while preparing solutions and see how the world reacts to your team results

Specific skills:

• We are looking for an experienced Technology Leader who has built and led technical teams

• Being hands-on with coding and architecture is an enormous benefit, but we still expect you to be technically savvy having a proven track record of working with large-scale distributed systems (multi-tier architectures, application security, monitoring and storage systems)

• Your verbal and written English is at a very high skill level (English is company language – speaking Danish is not a requirement)

• You have experience with some or all of the following technologies: PHP, Laravel, REST API design, native mobile app (Android, iOS) development, and AWS

• You have experience working with the agile / SCRUM framework, micro-services and continuous integration

• You have an interest in being up-to-date with existing and emerging technologies - such as AI and Machine learning - and know when technologies might hurt or benefit a product

• You enjoy being hands-on but is also capable of seeing the big picture and your results-focused approach will enable us to get results at scale and pace

• You have entrepreneurial drive – self-starter, good at managing pressure and are eager to grow our organization to become #1

• You know how to create results through an engaged team

• You get energy from a hectic work environment, where priorities may change from day to day
