Salary Competitive

At Low-Fi, we believe in live music experiences that truly allow for listening and for that we are creating an international community for small concerts in private homes and gardens. Our online platform facilitates the contact between musicians, hosts and concert guests. Through Low-Fi, they can collaborate with one another to create unique and intimate concert experiences. Do you want to join us on this journey and help us make Low-Fi even better for musicians? Then this is your chance!

A little background on us: We launched our platform in 2018 and have since been focused on consolidating Denmark with hosts, musicians and concerts. We are today countrywide with 500 musicians and 200 hosts. We are also back in force from COVID lockdown, where we momentarily went online with the Low-Fi concerts. The Low-Fi format is very well suited to a post-lockdown reality, so we are confident this is our moment to grow and shine.

We are now seeking an ambitious community manager to grow our musicians base both in Denmark and internationally, with a focus on quality and activation.

Who are you

Music has always been a major part of your life. Maybe you are a musician yourself, maybe you can’t sing to save your life. Anyhow, your passion for music has been your drive for many years and you have at least 2-3 years hands-on experience working in the music industry. Perhaps you have worked as a booker/manager, or gained your experience with an interest group or a music tech startup.

You are keen on working with processes and everything scalable and can’t help thinking that there has to be a better way to work one-to-many, rather than one-to-one.

You hold strong opinions and do definitely not believe that making a living in music should mean compromising your artistic vision. Rather, you would work towards improving the industry.

You know how to

  • Establish a dialogue with experienced musicians and industry stakeholders

  • Build relations across the industry and across national borders

  • Think in scalable solutions and processes

  • Keep a cool overview combined with execution power in terms of conceiving and implementing a strategy.

  • Build a team of country/regional managers as Low-Fi goes international

Who are we

We are a startup based in Copenhagen NV with a team of eight international and amazing human beings - and an office dog. We love going in to work and do what we do best, with a strong team spirit and a “let’s go!” attitude.

We are not a “sit at your desk 40 hours a week” kind of workplace. We are not fussed about how many hours you spend in front of the computer, but what kind of results you achieve. We believe in a diverse team with different backgrounds and interests and work-life balance. Whether this position is full time or part time is negotiable, but we imagine it to be a minimum of 25 hours per week.

At Low-Fi you are going to be part of something bigger than yourself. You will be part of a movement of intimate DIY concert experiences. We believe that the shared moment between musician and audience creates a special atmosphere that allows everyone to truly listen and build meaningful connections. We call that “amplified togetherness”.

If you are thinking that this is exactly the kind of opportunity you have been looking for, then send us your application with a cover letter and CV. If you have any questions feel free to contact Stine Hulvej on +45 5380 3949.

Working at
Low-Fi Concerts

At Low-Fi we want people to experience live music in a meaningful way. To do so we have created an online platform for: musicians, hosts and concert goers. Here they can meet and co-create (very analogue) living room concerts in the cozy setting of private homes. In a changing music industry, where money is no longer made in the recording studio, but at live gigs, we are servicing a global community of musicians and music lovers, allowing them to connect and create live music experiences together.  We support a present music scene with a fair and transparent economy. Working at Low-Fi you will be a part of something bigger than yourself. You will become a full member of a global DIY live music scene, where the close proximity between musician and audience creates a special atmosphere that allows everyone to drop their guard and create meaningful connections with the music and each other. We call this amplified togetherness. Want to know more about living room concerts?
