We are a small company in rapid growth, designing modularized toys for the development of children's imagination and motor skills. We believe that active play can help create a better world and we have tons of fun working on this vision. We have an awesome office space in central Copenhagen, and we are currently a dedicated team of 7 people. Our working hours are flexible, and our coffee is infinite.

We are looking for a Front-End Web Developer in a 5-month internship, who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. There’s strong possibility for a part time or full-time job after ended internship. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code for our website and web shop. You will work in Shopify with the liquid template language and you will work closely with our UI/UX designers (founders), taking an active role on how the website works and feels.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable, dynamic code in Shopify for future use

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Optimize our current website for maximum speed and scalability 

• Collaborate with other team members  

Skills 

• Experience with working in Shopify, including their liquid template language

• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3

• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery

• Good understanding of technical SEO principles and ensuring that our site will adhere to them.
