Connected Cars is working on an ambitious project to connect 1,000,000+ car-users to their vehicles by hooking them into the on-board diagnostics available in every modern car. Currently, we have +150,000 users of both private and commercial vehicles connected in several countries and the number is growing rapidly.

The position

At Connected Cars, we’re always looking for ways to improve the way we work, which is why our development team is currently programming a smarter way to do data-extract the cars we install our device in. 

We’re looking for a CANbus technician/developer passionate about automotive electronics who wants to help us turn every car into a connected car. Your main tasks will be to do data-extraction on the cars and write configurations. In collaboration with our development team, you will perform testing and optimize the software that reads the data from the cars. We do not expect you to know everything about programming in advance, as we will provide you with all the needed training. All you need is curiosity and eagerness to learn to program. 

What we’re looking for

You have a background in the Automotive world. Could be as a service technician, technical advisor, or maybe you are placed in a support position. And now you’re looking for a new challenge in your work. You know how car electronics work and you like to keep up to date with the latest in-vehicle technology. You have a desire to be the best at your work and you are definitely a computer expert. Additionally, this is what would make a great fit: 

• Knowledge and interest in CANbus

• Interest and basic knowledge in programming and willingness to undergo training to be even better.

• Eagerness to learn new things and not afraid to challenge yourself

• Ability to adapt and work well under pressure

• Good knowledge of English in both writing and speaking

• Driver’s license
