A great opportunity for an articulate, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented student who wants to get hands-on experience in a growing tech start-up. You’ll get to work with and learn from a team of highly experienced entrepreneurs and tech people in a role that primarily is about customer support and testing of our mobile app.
Hi there! We’re Driversnote, a SaaS company based in the heart of the Copenhagen startup scene. We take pride in helping more than 600.000 users worldwide keep a mileage logbook. No one likes to do mileage documentation - so we try to remove this tedious work and make our customers’ work life simpler by saving them time and money.
We think this is a great opportunity for an articulate, tech-savvy, and detail-oriented student who wants to get hands-on experience in a tech start-up.
You’ll get to work with and learn from a team of highly experienced entrepreneurs and tech people in a role that spans multiple functions.
We’re looking for a part-time Supporter & QA Tester to make sure our product (mostly our mobile app) is tested before we release it to users, and that our customers get the help they need when they reach out to us.
This means a lot of time spent answering our customers’ questions when they reach out to us, mostly by email. It also means manually testing our product, riding or driving around to collect test data for our tracking solution, and making sure that data is ready to be analysed.
The role requires you to be comfortable with IT and prepared to learn a lot of technical terms and details. We’d like you to come with a “can-do” spirit, eager to help with anything we might throw at you and be ready to see how a growing SaaS business really works from the inside.
We imagine you’re studying a comms or IT-related degree in or near Copenhagen, or have at least some relevant experience from a previous job or study.
Work hours are 10-20 hours per week, with flexibility built in to account for exams and school holidays. The work will take place in our office in central Copenhagen right next to the Gl. Strand metro.
Danish language skills are not a requirement as our office language is English.
Typical work tasks:
Answering emails from our customers and shipping packages
Manually testing our mobile app before each release
Collection of test data for our tracking functionality
Organising customer feedback and feature requests
You must:
Be fluent in English and have clear written communication skills
Be tech-savvy, curious and motivated to gain a deep understanding of how our product works
Be detail-oriented and good at pattern recognition
Additionally, it would be nice if you:
Have experience with testing software
Know your way around a spreadsheet or database
You’ll get your own area of responsibility, test data collection and QA, supervised by our CXO. In time, and when your support duties allow for it, we’d love it if you could help us further improve our processes in a way that suits your desires and skills.
We’re flexible as to your work hours, and we leave room for working remotely too.
We work in a relaxed environment in Matrikel1, a community co-working space for entrepreneurs and tech startups in central Copenhagen. You get to network with other startups and scale-ups and plenty of cool, like-minded people.
Finally, we offer a great lunch cooked by Matrikel1’s in-house chefs.
If you’re interested, please send an application via our website: https://www.driversnote.com/jobs/student-supporter-qa. We have a few questions that you should expect to spend 10-15 minutes answering, and you’ll also get the chance to attach a CV, etc.
We’ll accept applications until August 9. After this, we expect to take a couple of days to review all applications and get back to you by August 14. If you have been shortlisted, we might ask you to perform a short, written test before moving on to a face-to-face interview.
We look forward to hearing from you!
