Please note that we are a voluntary organisation that is not able to provide applicants with any formal employment, compensation, working visas or relocation assistance. Description

We have a bold vision to arrange the largest TEDx-event ever. To succeed, we need the brightest minds - we need you! TEDxMalmö is looking for a driven, entrepreneurial, easy-going individual (with a sense of humor) to join our team as a Podcaster, developing the TEDxMalmö podcast project from idea to up-and-running show with a loyal following - sharing ideas worth spreading.

Ideally you have a few successful podcast projects under your belt already and want to spread your wings under the TED brand. This will be your baby. You will initiate, plan, create, market and revise the podcast as well as have the opportunity to host a wide array of fascinating speakers on a number of topics.

In December 2020, we will host a batch of great speakers that will touch upon all kinds of ideas worth spreading. This is your chance to meet them in person and to work with the best event producers, marketers, editors, video producers and doers in the region. This is your chance to make things happen!

The role

Tasks

– Build the TEDxMalmö podcast from scratch

– Plan and prepare episode topics and interview questions

– Work with the communications and speaker teams to create the best conditions for an amazing listening experience

– Host and record the episodes with a guest (speakers, teammates, affiliated people)

– Write brief show notes for each episode

– Post and promote the podcast in collaboration with the communications team
