We have a bold vision to arrange the largest TEDx-event ever. To succeed, we need the brightest minds - we need you! In December 2020, we will host another batch of great speakers that will touch upon all sorts of ideas worth spreading. This is your chance to meet them in person and to work with the best salespeople, companies, marketers and doers in the region.
Without the sponsorship manager, there would be no event. The rest of the team have you to thank that the party gets paid for. During the event, you can smile and tell your friends that you paid for it, because you did, by closing sponsorship deals. You will build valuable relationships with CEOs and upper-level management of international firms. You will also sharpen your sales acumen through training, coaching and hands-on tasks experience. Our ideal teammate is quick, attentive and ready to get their hands dirty. You enjoy working independently as well as in a team environment.

The role
Tasks
– Build relationships and recruit sponsors in the region, ultimately closing deals
– Provide sales support including (but not limited to) drafting proposals, contracts and doing company research
– Draft sponsor invitation and template emails and make them accessible for the rest of the team
– Create lucrative package deals with all the information and perks a signed and paying sponsor gets a few months before the event, including information about their booths, the venue, important dates, VIP networking opportunities and how to promote the partnership on their social media/use our brand
– Use the opportunity to manage communication with your signed sponsors by keeping them up to date with good news (such as new speakers and fun developments)
– Create documents clearly stating what we all have sold to our sponsors and what they are expecting to receive for their money. This is a foundation for the marketing and event production team so that they can deliver on those promises
– Manage our sponsorship tracking document
