You have probably been asked to let your hair down with the risk management stuff once or twice - “nothing’s going to happen” they say. Enter 2020, and now you’re a superstar because you stuck to your guns. Congratulations! Come join us.

We have a bold vision to arrange the largest TEDx-event ever, hosting 15.000 people in Malmö Arena. In December 2020 (or possibly June 2021), we will host a batch of great speakers that will touch upon all kinds of ideas worth spreading. To succeed, we need the brightest minds - we need you! TEDxMalmö is looking for a no-nonsense, well-rounded, make-it-work risk manager with a sense of humor, to join our team as Head of Risk Management, building our risk strategy from the ground up to make our organisation and the event safe and sound.

Ideally, you have experience from a range of industries - events, e-commerce, media production. If not, we want to see that you are able to think outside the box when it comes to multifaceted risk management projects. It’s essential that you are able to both foresee future risks and also think quickly on your feet to solve problems at hand.

This is your chance to work with the best event producers, vendors, speakers and doers in the region. This is your chance to make things happen!

The role

Tasks

– Design and implement an overall risk management process for the organisation

– Perform continuous risk assessments and evaluations

– Put risk mitigation strategies into place

– Create business continuity plans to limit risks

– Work with a range of internal and external stakeholders

– Maintain records of insurance policies and claims

– Build risk awareness amongst staff by providing support and training within the

organisation
