Startup Norway is looking for a Marketing Manager that will develop and execute the communications and marketing strategy for Startup Norway and daughter organizations.

Startup Norway is an independent impact organization started in 2011 by passionate entrepreneurs, wanting to create a stronger and more inclusive startup community. 

We work to support the founders of Norway by developing services for founders, investors and the extended startup support system to increase the know-how in Norway on how to build companies.  We strive to influence, connect and educate the players of the startup scene, with the goal to make the environment for founders as smooth and supportive as it can possibly be.

Startup Norway has three daughter companies:

• Startup Extreme: A yearly startup festival in Norway - Voss gathering the core of the startup ecosystem in an environment combining networking and extreme sports. 

• Angel Challenge: A Startup Investment Program training investors on how to invest in startups. Angel Challenge also invests in startups and has a portfolio of 20+ investments.

• Startup Campus: is an entrepreneurial playground, coworking and event space in the middle of Oslo city center. This is our 2500m^2 home, where we sit together with startups, investors and friends from the greater startup ecosystem.

In 2020 we count 15 full time employees working in the Startup Norway group of companies and projects. The team is international and diverse by nature, with English as the working language.

Startup Norway is looking for a Marketing Manager that will develop and execute the communications and marketing strategy for Startup Norway and daughter organizations. 

As the Marketing Manager of Startup Norway

You will:

• Lead and organize the marketing department at Startup Norway - a growing team of 3+ people. 

• Work in close collaboration with the management team in Startup Norway

• Develop the marketing and communication plans for all Startup Norway initiatives

• Part-take in guiding the development team currently creating our online marketing platform. 

• Drive marketing projects manage stakeholders and contributors 

• Lead and collaborate with highly creative people

• Lead the creation of content for our website, blog, and other platforms 

• Prepare slide decks, pitches, sales materials and other presentations 

• Write press releases and other PR materials 

• Manage our social media profiles and engage our communities 

• Capture leads, maintain workflows, ensure that no leads are left behind

• Capture and analyze marketing metrics

• Plan and execute marketing events, webinars, campaigns, and other marketing activities
