Knowledge Gate Group is a startup based in Copenhagen, that has seen incredibly exciting growth. We are an ambitious startup bringing the collective intelligence to the broader market. Utilized by Investment Firms and Management Consultancies, Knowledge Gate Group has been founded on the belief that this strategic tool should be available for all companies. We schedule micro-consultations that allow companies to utilize the best of expert knowledge on topics they may lack internally.

The Role:

Knowledge Gate Group has been operating since August 2019, and has enjoyed exceptional growth within its' targeted market segment. Our internal tools and processes have became too time-consuming and obsolete to be able to serve the exponentially growing demand. Therefore we are looking to find our backend developer who can reform and refine our platform, and help us in scaling the company into the unicorns we are meant to be.

As a backend developer at Knowledge Gate Group your main areas of responsibility will include:

• Maintaining our existing platform and developing new features to it

• Working on every phase of the development (architecture, planning, development, testing)

• Identifying and separating projects into work packages for our development road map

The right person is someone who has at least two years of experience in working with:

• Laravel 5

• PSR-2 and PSR-4 coding style

• Caching mechanisms (mostly redis)

• MySQL, PostgreSQL

• Git version control

• API consumption

• HTML5 and CSS

• VueJS

Additional good-to-haves:

• Entrepreneurial spirit

• Fluency in the application of GIFs and memes

• A go-getter attitude

• Fondness for friday bars
