EAT GRIM is a start-up working to fight food waste. We do this in two ways: through our B2C GRIM subscription box containing ugly-by-nature organic and surplus fruit and vegetables. We also sell our wonky produce to B2B to food businesses. We shipped our first box in July 2018 and have so far saved 230 tons of food. We are growing fast and are now looking to hire a full-time SEO + content marketing intern. Could it be you?
Are you a little tech savvy, and looking for an opportunity to get into the heart of a start-up that puts sustainability at the top of the agenda? We are a small team with different nationalities and abilities, but we have our passion for food and GRIM in common. Our drive is to create a new standard for what’s edible. As with any start-up, there are always different tasks every day, and we expect you to like that kind of environment and thrive under it.
As main tasks, but not exclusively, you will:
Conduct market & keyword research
Assist in writing and translating quality content from English to Danish and vice versa (e.g. newsletters, emails, search ads, blog posts etc)
Suggest optimisations for our webpages to improve search engine ranking
Build back-links for website to improve search engine ranking
Creating weekly & monthly marketing and sales reports
Perform weekly competitor marketing and sales research
Contributing to creating and executing digital marketing strategies
Support the team with ad hoc tasks
We expect you to:
Write and speak English & Danish fluently
Be comfortable with working across a wide range of digital platforms
Be proactive and work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
Share a passion for food and sustainability
Bonus points if you:
Have some understanding of or interest in SEO
Have good command of Excel or Google Sheets
Have in interest in the more technical side of digital marketing
Have any sort of e-commerce experience
Are available for a period of at least 3 months
