We are seeking an ambitious, creative, and well-organized web designer that is experienced with Squarespace or Wix to join our global startup, NewGlue, in Stockholm, Sweden for a 3 months internship - with potential for full-time employment. NewGlue is an automated creative agency that, through a technical solution and creative tools, allows small businesses to afford high-quality and professional branding.

You will work with our experienced team of design, business, technology and branding experts to provide mainly web design, but also occasional logo design, branding and user research support.

You will experience working in a fast-paced, energetic environment where your work reaches real users. Working with senior members of the team, you will quickly learn about not only web design but also what it takes to grow an online business according to the needs of NewGlue’s customers (working with both designers and clients).

Responsibilities and tasks

• Manage NewGlue's Web service on Squarespace

• Assist our CPO (Chief Product Officer) on UI-design for new service

• Create new web designs for NewGlue customers

• Learn how to create web design in SquareSpace for real clients all over the world

Experience Required

• Great knowledge of Adobe Illustrator

• Prior knowledge of Squarespace or Wix

• Excellent sense of design, color, type and layout

• Passionate about branding and web design

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

• High level of attention to detail and organized

• Flexible and able to balance and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced deadline driven environment

• Show examples of digital design and/or graphic design work you’ve completed yourself (interactive display, print media, logos & branding, user-centred design, thesis work etc.).
