We are a customer-driven company, and we are now searching for an experienced process-driven person who can help our product teams deliver value continuously.
We are looking for a full-time Scrum Master, to join our product team based in Copenhagen as soon as possible.
As Penneo’s first Scrum Master you will have the opportunity to shape and define the process in our product development teams. You will report to Product Director Jannic Nielsen and collaborate with highly skilled, open-minded and multi-cultural teams across the company.
You will play an important part in understanding the development potential of our team and you will have the mandate to make process adjustments in order for us to improve and grow.
You have at least 2-3 years experience from a similar role in an agile environment. Your background could be technical, but it matters more to us that you have a solid, general understanding of digital product development.
Your closest teammates will be the product team and your closest peers the engineering team.
Facilitate Agile product development with product development teams
Guide the product development teams through Scrum rituals - sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospective and standups
Communicate plans and ensure adaptation to changes
Identify Agile anti-patterns and help the team resolve them
Build processes and structure to enable scaling
Anticipate and remove potential roadblocks for the product development teams
Collaborate and communicate across the organization
Facilitate interactions with Product Managers and stakeholders across the organization with a strong focus on end-user value
Maintain transparency of progress — making work visible — throughout the lifetime of a project for both internal and external stakeholders.
You have at least 2-3 years experience from a similar role, e.g. Agile Coach, Scrum Master, Delivery Manager etc.
You know how to help a team remove impediments and improve their processes on an iterative basis.
You have experience identifying Agile anti-patterns and you enjoy helping the teams resolve them.
You have a wide and deep toolbox of facilitation techniques, Agile methods and principles, and you think it’s important to adapt and tweak your tools continuously.
Our work language is English and we expect you to be fluent in the language.
Assessing current process state and designing and implementing appropriate Agile processes with the product development teams, sometimes from scratch
Continuously adapting and optimizing Agile processes with the product development teams
Promoting agile values in product development
Removing roadblocks for the product teams
Communicating progress and setbacks to all stakeholders.
