Desired background:
You have a minimum BA/BSc degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or related quantitative degree.
Fluent in Python and SQL for data manipulation, modelling and scripting.
You have people skills, and love to coach people.
You have a great commercial understanding and thrive in dynamic environments.
Project management skills.
3-5+ years experience, preferably from ecommerce sector, with managerial experience, leading and coaching Data Analysts team in order to deliver value.
Excellent communicator towards both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to create data visualizations which generate insights and build knowledge throughout the organization.
Results driven and a passion for all things data.
As our Lead Data Scientist, you will:
Focus on how we use and apply data science within the organisation to make data science a key part of our growth.
Scope, Prioritize and Manage the development of models and data products that enable us to analyse and understand processes, patterns and trends.
Coach/Mentor the development of such models and data products.
Develop and improve our data model and data warehouse design in collaboration with our junior data team, and work on making the data accessible and visual for the rest of the company.
Build tools and automated processes in collaboration with our performance marketing team to enable scaling up marketing efforts across all of our acquisition channels.
Build solutions, integrations and automations that enable our different teams to perform their job effectively and without friction.
Optimize and expand upon integrations between purchasing systems, inventory management systems as well as B2C and B2B sales channels.
