What does a Technical SEO Specialist do?

You will be a key player on our growth marketing team, identifying and solving tricky and technical SEO challenges to grow eachthings organic traffic. You will be responsible for managing all technical SEO activities such as landing pages, split tests, link building and keyword strategy to increase our rankings on all major search engines.

We are looking for a candidate who: 

• has ~3 years of relevant work experience.

• has excellent knowledge of Technical SEO for Google, Yahoo and Bing.

• has knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms.

• has knowledge of Google Analytics and Google Search Console.

• has knowledge of HTML, XML, Sitemaps, .htaccess, and a bunch of other acronyms we're not even going to list.

• has some development experience (preferred): you've probably dabbled in coding enough to know how to Google for answers on StackOverflow.

• has startup compatibility: you’re comfortable with changing roles, blistering speed, and figuring it out as you go along.

• has the passion to help build a business from scratch and who want to make a difference in the world with the work you do.

• is self-disciplined: you prefer to structure your own tasks.

• can effectively communicate offline and online on Slack and Hangouts.

Part-time 10-15 hours per week.

As our technical SEO-specialist, your role spans the tech team and the marketing team. You will collaborate with our marketing team and ensure that the SEO strategy coheres with the overall marketing strategy, but you are working with CEO/CTO Sven Philipsen to implement world class SEO.
