Our client is a high load video conferencing platform. Earlier this year they reached a million minutes of video conferencing going through its platform every hour. That's video and audio being decoded, mixed and encoded in real-time on more than 4,000 virtual machines all around the world.

Currently we are looking for an Intel SIMD Optimization Engineer to join their engineering team in Oslo, Norway.  Tasks: 

• Work with real-time video coding/decoding 

• Optimization using Intel SIMD instructions (not full time work)

Requirements

Must have skills:

• Proficiency in C and Assembler

• CPU optimisation x86/64

• Experience with writing code using SIMD instructions

• Experience with multithreading

Good to have skills:

• Experience in video/media area 

• Experience with Intel Parallel Studio
