As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at Stilt you get to architect and design large scale data processing systems, and service-based architecture. You will build and maintain APIs, services, and systems and drive efforts to improve the engineering process, testing, tooling, and coding standard. You will also be expected to lead engineering efforts and work with teams across the organization to improve business metrics.

What you’ll be doing at Stilt

• Designing and building new features for Stilt Core Business

• Exploring and using third-party tools for solving Stilt’s internal engineering challenge

• Building a new API for our lending platform, or iterate on existing APIs

• Building new tools for our operation teams, or iterate on existing tools

• Integrating third-party APIs for security/payments/wire

• Consolidating data from multiple platforms and create a platform for marketing and accounting team to use

• Implementing tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce the DevOps work
