Our client is a leading employee communication, advocacy and engagement SaaS provider with operations in Helsinki, Stockholm, London and New York with more than 50 full-time team members.

 At the moment they are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join their HQ in Helsinki! Together with tech gurus you will make the company's product more intuitive and allowing their customers to reach their goals in an increasingly effective way. You will be working closely with one of the Scrum teams and leading end-to-end projects from the discovery until the delivery phase. The company is now in the process of establishing their design system, so you will have a chance to bring notable benefit by contributing to its creation as well.  

 

Requirements

Must have skills: 

  • 3 years of experience

  • Portfolio with previous works clearly showing the UX improvements you’ve made for other software products

  • Ability to bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design projects

  • A solid understanding of user experience design, information architecture, user interface design, accessibility (WCAG 2.1) and design systems

  • At least a basic knowledge of user research methods (both qualitative and quantitative), usability research tools

  • Ability to spot behavioural patterns, themes, insights and opportunities based on research data

  • Enough knowledge about coding/development to be able to properly communicate with engineers

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment

  • Ability to influence prioritisation in an agile environment. Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and evolving stakeholder’s needs with openness and agility

  • Experience with UX prototyping and working alongside other designers, considering that other people than you will consume your work

  • Experience with Scrum

  • Experience with source control tools for designs like Abstract and Zeplin

  • Savvy Sketch user, with a tidy and organized workflow in your files

  • Interest in numbers and data-based decision-making

  • Advanced English communication skills

Nice to have skills:

  • Mobile design experience

  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML
