We are a software team with a two-folded mission. Firstly as a team, we want to establish a sustainable foundation for future generations of Product Team members. Meaning that we optimize for a culture of long-term technical thinking, work-life balance, fun and straight-talk. Secondly, we want to produce products with the highest future potential to progress the Slush mission, which means that we exercise radical prioritization when picking which projects to execute and which to kill.


In this role, you will be developing products & tools for both Slush and its customers in close collaboration with different teams within the Slush organization. You will be in a key position to contribute to the technical roadmap of the on-going & upcoming years. The right person for this role will have the ability to learn by doing and will not be afraid of taking ownership even though it might seem frightening at first.


Responsibilities:

  • Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

  • Create and maintain software documentation

  • Develop a technology roadmap in collaboration with the product manager

  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

  • Talking and testing with customers/users in development.

  • Customer support throughout the year.

  • Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends, actively learn about new technologies & apply them into operations and activities.

  • Collaborate with different teams in-house.

Qualifications:

  • Commitment until at least the end of 2021 to ensure the continuity of the team & your own learning. 

  • Good collaboration skills (e.g., coordinating, building consensus, influencing without authority, listening, being open to other perspectives)

  • 1+ years of experience in web development.

  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

Bonus:

  • Experience implementing products/services with 3rd party partners

  • Experience building and consuming internal/external APIs
