Right now, they are looking for Big Data Architect for development of customer’s cloud data platform solutions and technically lead customer deliveries. Your task with us is SW architectural and development related, including design and development of cloud-based bid data solutions, customer data pipelines and advanced analytics solutions. Your responsibilities include architectural lead role for selected development activities and customer deliveries.

Requirements

Must have skills (you don't have to be experienced with all the technologies):

• SW design and development experience and skills related to data-centric solutions handling large amounts of data

• Experience in Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Data Processing, RDBMS, NoSQL, SQL

• Experience with programming languages like Java, Scala, Kotlin, Python, JavaScript

• Understanding of information security and privacy issues related to cloud solutions

• Experience with the major big data solutions like Hadoop, Hive, Presto, Databricks, Spark and Kafka

• Knowledge of container-related technologies like Docker, Kubernetes and Istio is a plus

• Several years of experience in working in key technical roles in complex product development and/or other SW development projects

• Good communication skills and ability to work independently with the customer representatives

Good to have skills:

• Knowledge of Lambda Architecture

• Experience in working with cloud environments, preferably Microsoft Azure

• Finnish language
