Likvido is a (very) fast-growing startup. We are 25 employees now, and we have just raised a seed round to realize our huge ambitions for the coming years.  We’ve built an “Invoice CRM” - imagine a system like Hubspot / Pipedrive / Salesforce, but for your invoices. You can assign workflows, add todos, write notes and much more. On top of the “Invoice CRM”, we’re going to launch financial products. Imagine, when you create the invoice - we will automatically pay our client - RIGHT away!

Our situation is this: we have a product that thousands of customers love, we're growing fast and we have a very solid roadmap. We have a great sales organization and we know to scale getting to market. We're two co-founders that is very aligned, and we have a very strong vision for where we are heading.

Being a co-founder is hard, as you need a lot of different skills. Being the CTO today, I've started to hit some limits on our architectural decisions, implementations and setting up our infrastructure to scale.

That's why we're looking for an experienced tech lead. If keywords such as Azure, .NET Core, Docker/Kubernetes, and DevOps make you happy, then, look no further!

Our platform is ~18 months old. We have a big monolith ASP.NET MVC application (we want to migrate to a SPA with .NET Core API), combined with 4 solid ASP.NET Core microservices. Everything is hosted in Azure and Github, and we use many of the Azure products, including Azure DevOps. 

We’re 5 full-time developers and 4 part-timers. We plan to double the team in 2020.

The job:

As an experienced tech lead, your overall goal is that we build the right architecture, processes, and infrastructure. Day-to-day. the job will be:

• Solve the hardest technical challenges in the code - you’re expected to have your hands in the code

• Make pull request reviews (or request another team member to do so)

• Make core technical & architectural decisions on the platform

• Build infrastructure and set up the correct tooling around it

• Release code & make sure the releases go well

The role can go in two directions, depending on your profile. One direction is "principal architect" without people management, another direction includes people management at some level.

You will be working closely together with our product managers and me as the CTO.

Requirements:

We’re looking for someone who can say “YES!” to the following:

• I’m a senior developer with many years of experience, with prior experience in either managing a team or be responsible for large architectural decisions

• I’m a great .NET / C# developer that can dig into the code. Keywords such as .NET Core, SQL, Azure, microservices and containers are something you master

• Ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Venture-backed startups are not for everyone. We're extremely ambitious, and if you love incremental improvements, you will not be a culture-fit.
