UX/UI Designer (part-time or student position)

CrediWire is looking for an experienced UX/UI designer to join our Product team in Copenhagen. As an only in-house designer your work tasks vary from user journeys, wireframes to fully-detailed UI designs. A perfect candidate would also have an interest/experience with graphic design to help with the company’s promotional material. This position is perfect for someone looking for a part-time job while studying or similar.

Responsibilities

Polishing the user experience and the overall look of the product. We build software for Business Owners, Financial Institutions, Accountants, Bookkeepers and Lawyers, resulting in a diverse target audience.

You will join the Product team, focusing on defining, designing and driving a superior and seamless user experience:

• Lead efforts to gather user needs, expectations and pain points
• Translate business intelligence and general feedback into user stories, workflows, prototypes, sketches, wireframes, and materials for developers
• Define and take charge during the design phase
• Work closely with the development team to ensure a high-quality implementation and user experience
• You will play a key part in understanding user issues, driving for product alignment and exploring design solutions in an end-to-end way
• Create work that you can be proud of

About CrediWire

CrediWire is an online tool where the business owners can set up their accounts, connect with their bookkeeping system, and get a quick and easy overview of all their financial data. That means that the users can follow their progress, compare their results to the industry’s average and timely react to the changes when necessary.

Banks, accountants and lawyers can buy access to CrediWire’s platform and have their clients’ data shared with them, resulting in closer communication between the two.  

Need to have

• Relevant work experience or education (UX-, Media, Interaction design)
• Ability to understand complex systems and transform them into smooth experiences
• Knowledge of different design methods
• Working knowledge of design/prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, InVision or similar
• A solid grasp of user-centred design and testing methodologies, usability and accessibility concerns
• A critical mind to product development. Not only design but how products, features and UX support our business goals

Nice to have

• Experience in working with other various Adobe programs like Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects
• Knowledge of design concepts for Social Networks
• Knowledge of basic HTML and CSS
