We are looking for an experienced Content & Social Media Marketing Lead to join our team and create high-quality and engaging content and drive our business goals. As a Content & Social Media Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall content and social media strategy based on our specific goals and objectives. Our ideal candidate has a passion for marketing and content, follows trends and is keen on experimenting with new ideas while learning new skills.

The job will give you great ownership of different channels including our blog on blog.thehub.io and all of the Hub and +Impact social media channels including Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter. This position requires you to have a great "hands-on" approach (for example with creating content for social media yourself) and at the same time great coordination and project management skills (i.e. briefing external writers and designers for a blog post).

You will be given plenty of creative freedom to execute on your ideas while working closely with our CMO to define our content roadmap.

 

YOUR CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage blog content creation pipeline, planning, editing, publishing and optimising content considering SEO and Google Analytics.

  • Managing all of our social media channels and creating a consistent strategy including producing, scheduling and publishing content in a variety of formats in the right channels at the right time.

  • Content creation for email campaigns, email newsletters and landing pages.

  • Work with and manage external contractors including content writers and designers.

  • Liaise with our internal global team on research, analysis and local activations.

 

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Track record in content creation through different channels.

  • Experience in blogging (WordPress), article writing, press releases.

  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English.

  • Great expertise in social media platforms.

  • Hands-on experience or great interest in SEO and web metrics

  • Understanding of visual design (infographics, photography )

  • Great time-management skills and outstanding ability to multi-task.

  • Former experience from working on or high interest in startups environments.

  • Experience working in remote/distributed teams (you are adept at Slack, video conferencing, screen sharing etc.)

  • Nordic Language no required but would be a plus! ( Danish, Swedish, Norwegian or Finnish )
