The team
You will be working in a team of passionate people, all motivated to create solutions that can help others. With the company still being in its early days, you’ll be working with people across the board, in order to develop the most feasible solutions and receive/give inputs. Your everyday work will be done in close cooperation with the technical founder.
The job
As backend software engineer at SubReader, you will help build the foundations for our service, implement new features and optimize the backend stack for scalability. You will be working closely with our front-end engineer and our technical officer, in order to create a cohesive software stack and user-experience. As a startup, we believe in fluidity and experimentation. Previous experience, personal projects and universal curiosity is therefore highly appreciated.
The position is estimated to be 15-25 hours.
What are we looking for?
A person passionate for development, and eager to develop personal skills
A team player not afraid to give/receive input
A person possessing programming skills in; ReactJS, NodeJS, MongoDB and Docker & Kubernetes
Apollo /GraphQL and Rust is nice to have, but not a must
You’re good at learning, and fast obtaining new skills
