As our new Frontend Developer, you will join our talented and passionate Product team, who is developing a brand new tech platform to support able®’s future adventure. You will collaborate closely on a day-to-day basis with our Lead Developer and Lead Experience Designer. The role reports to our Head of Product.

Together, we will manifest new digital tools on our platform that aid every aspect of able®’s mission to simplify the experience of ordering and delivering sustainable, joyful and exciting lunch for businesses being a trusted and reliable partner for both office manager, kitchen staff and guests.

As our ideal Backend Developer, you have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience working as a Backend Developer

• Built well-crafted and scalable APIs using Node.js or a similar web framework and ideally hands-on experience with GraphQL

• Experience with designing, building, and optimizing databases

• Experience with AWS; specifically DynamoDB, CloudFormation, Cognito, Lambda, S3, AppSync, CloudFront

• Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of your natural workflow to ensure that your code is solid

• +1 if you have:

  • Knowledge of serverless infrastructure

  • Familiarity with graph databases

  • DevOps experience

Furthermore, you are:

• Optimistic, joyful, and an excellent team player

• Comfortable with agile practices, such as Kanban and Scrum

• Detail-oriented, focusing on writing high-quality, maintainable code

• Excited about the messy art of “happy little accidents” that is Product Discovery, working in close tandem with our customer-facing Care and Joy teams

• Responsible, accountable, results-oriented and good at working independently

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Proficient in English and possibly Danish.
