We’re looking for an experienced lead developer who works great in teams, have no problem managing code or people and preferably have a background of 2+ years in a startup having faced challenges similar to ours.

You have years of experience with Laravel or a similar PHP framework such as CodeIgniter or Symfony. You have in-depth understanding of a backend in web-based apps including routing, OOP and SQL. Ideally you also have experience with cloud hosting, Linux and APIs. You have opinions about code and architecture, can easily manage PRs and code-reviews and seek to find optimal balance between product velocity and scalable code.

As our team grows so will your role, and we look ahead to have the profile of this hire ultimately join our management team.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Dive into implementation of features in our product road map

• Help team members move forward with features and PRs

• Take ownership on code base and architecture

• Align direction of product and code with our CTO

• Ultimately help manage and scale the developer team

Furthermore we also use a number of freelancers – coincidentally 😉 – our workday is defined by a high level of activity. We’re a relatively new company and we evolve our product, the technology and the user experience on an ongoing basis.
