We’re looking for an ambitious and driven Junior Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team at the Falcon.io HQ in Copenhagen.
As part of the Commercial Operations department, the Business Intelligence team is responsible for the maintenance and development of the analytics infrastructure of the company. We have a modern tech stack based on Amazon Redshift and Looker, which sits at the core of all our activities. We work closely with the Commercial Systems team to make as much data as possible available in our data warehouse, giving us the right foundation for our analyses.
As a Junior Data Analyst you will support the Business Intelligence team in handling requests from stakeholders across the company, ensuring a healthy and accurate data infrastructure. This gives you the unique opportunity to learn first-hand how each department operates, providing you with a close-up view of the commercial engine that drives our growth.

You will work closely with our core data model in Looker and it is therefore important that you are comfortable writing SQL. Prior experience with data-driven decision-making is a plus, but more important is the ability to demonstrate a keen intuition to transform raw data into tangible business value.
Falcon.io has an ethos of encouraging autonomy, ambition, boldness and experimentation. We value open people who take initiative and aren’t afraid to fail, learn from mistakes, adjust, and try to get better at what they do every day.
What you’ll do:
Develop and maintain the data model in Looker
Ensure accuracy of our reports in Looker
Build and update dashboards in Looker
Work with stakeholder across the company to assess data needs
Work with the Systems team to ensure alignment between tooling and data warehouse
Identify growth opportunities through analysis of our data

You will be a good fit if you:

Can work a minimum of 16 hours per week
Are ambitious to succeed in a high-growth company
Have good SQL skills
Have strong business acumen
Have a good understanding of making data-driven commercial decisions
Have basic knowledge of data warehousing methodologies
Have excellent written and spoken communication skills
Have good social skills, including stakeholder management
You will be a great fit if you also have:
Prior working experience in a similar role (part-time or full-time)
Experience with modern BI tools e.g. Looker, Periscope Data, Mode Analytics, Tableau
Experience working with Python, R or similar languages
What we offer:
A great learning opportunity to succeed as a data analyst
First-hand experience in how to scale a SaaS business
The ability to work with a modern BI tech stack and extensive data model
Exposure to different departments, allowing you to find a focus area
A team of ambitious, driven and high-performing colleagues
An open, informal and multinational working environment defined by high levels of personal responsibility
An office space housed in the old Danish Design Center, directly opposite Tivoli Gardens in central Copenhagen
The Falcon Feed: our in-house canteen providing up to 3x meals per day, including drinks and healthy snacks
