We are looking for a full time Android developer to join our development team. You will become a part of our 5-man (soon to be 7) development team and work closely with our designer and customers to create great user experiences for our end users.

The role

You will work closely with our other Android developers on our Java & Kotlin based Android apps for our end consumers and the shops in the shopping malls. You will be working along with our other developers, product designer and the product owner. Though we change practices and processes as needed, we like following the agile principles, and develop in sprints of 2 weeks. At the end of the sprint the entire team gets together and show off their work and receive feedback and praise in an informal setting with beer or soda.

Emplate: Bringing malls online

We help shopping malls reinvent their communication with consumers in a way that customers love and find personal, relevant and valuable - all with our own software platform! Meanwhile, we collect data and insights on what drives people to physical stores - a skill, that is usually only possible online! The insights help us cut through the noise and bring more relevance into the communication through various marketing channels - all in order to give the customer a better digital experience in-store.

Where we are, and where we are going:

Our solution is in use in 15 shopping malls across four countries by thousands of users every month between our native apps for iOS & Android. We are a passionate, young and ambitious team of ten from Denmark, Latvia and Poland located mostly in our office in Aarhus N as well as in remote locations. We are currently expanding internationally in Europe, and expect 2020 to be a year of rapid growth 🚀
