The Desired Candidate for the Job
Starting a new role like this takes guts. We need you to have the confidence to pick up the phone and book meetings with people who have never heard of Grandhood before. It takes efficiency as you'll look through all the people who are interested in Grandhood , and qualify these leads from our website and book them for meetings with our sales team.
You are experienced in running a data-driven Inside Sales setup, where digital acquisition and customer service plays a crucial role. Grandhood is delivering an occupational pension plan for SMEs and their employees. Thus, we are truly B2B-2C and therefore we also have two important conversions to maximize, i.e. the business owners and the employees. Moreover, increasing savings rates is an important KPI. You have vast B2B-2C sales experience from SaaS companies or financial services with an extraordinary track record of maximizing conversion rates both on businesses and end-users. You understand the chaos and lack of structure that describes a start-up and enjoys seeking the opportunities that it provides. You are turned on by the high ambitions and growth expectations and sees it as an attractive challenge to build up an international company from “nothing”. As important as your background, we focus on your leadership approach and competencies in order to take on this role.
We expect you to have a Masters degree with a solid understanding of data analysis, commercialisation of digital products and business strategy. You are obsessed with customers and everything you do is centered around building a customer experience that is second to none.

As VP of Inside Sales you will play a key role in the expansion of Grandhood, where you will drive the overall Inside Sales strategy of Grandhood, but also thrive on more operational tasks. You will build and run our sales team, be part of management and report to the CEO. Furthermore, you will have cross-organisational touch points, e.g. Tech, Product, Marketing and Asset Management.
You will be responsible for building a data-driven Inside Sales setup and the following must be known territory for the right candidate:
Hard skills needed:
Strong communication skills (verbal + written) in both Danish and English
Develop a data-driven Inside Sales strategy
Establish efficient distribution channels
Build and develop sales team from scratch
Lead by example, motivate and inspire
Excellent communicator and speaker
You are a "toastmaster" and able to get on the phone or the stage quite comfortably
Good at relationship building
Interest in solving problems for companies
Strong background in Project Management work
Experienced in developing a Sales Playbook
Understanding of how to work closely with Marketing
Collect and analyse data – including Cohort Analysis
Experienced in interpreting data and turning insights into action
Mixpanel, Firmafon, HubSpot, Asana etc.
Develop dashboards with relevant key metrics and focus with KPI’s
Support decisions with data and facts
It is a plus if you have:
Experience with selling B2B occupational pension solutions
Level 4 certification from the Danish Insurance Academy
Startup experience combined with pension or banking experience
