Tomorrow is a tech startup that designs and builds scalable solutions to climate change. Our goal is to be a catalyst of change by making the climate impact of individuals and companies more accessible and empower them to take action. We are looking for a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Copenhagen, own the electricityMap data pipeline and develop new on-device algorithms for the Tomorrow app.

You will

• lead and take ownership of the electricityMap data pipeline

• use Machine Learning to improve our forecasts and marginal algorithms

• work with our customers to achieve impact in the real world

• collaborate with academia to push the frontiers of knowledge

• develop algorithms for the Tomorrow app to infer user activity on-device (geolocation, email-parsing)

You are

• knowledgeable about how the electricity system works

• eager to find new data to add to the electricityMap

• experienced in forecasting algorithms such as linear models, GLM, gaussian processes etc.

• skilled in data engineering and not afraid to manipulate Google Cloud, Docker and Spark for processing large data sets

• eager to improve our collaboration with academia by supervising research projects

• interested in prototyping new interactive data visualisations

• hopeful about the future and ready to tackle one of the greatest challenge of our generation.
