Do you want to take part in disrupt and change a whole industry sector? We have launched Sweden's first digital grain trading platform - through Skira farmers can now for the first time trade grains and agricultural commodities on an open, secure and sustainable platform. We need you, killer sales person, to join the team and let every farmer know about Skira and how we'll help them to change the world!


As sales representative at Skira you will work with the acquisition and retention of Skiras customers. Your main responsibility is increasing the numbers of users posting ads and trading on our platform.

Our customer base are farmers and they're spread out across the country; Your work is hence to a large extent telesales and digital follow-up. You will also take part in customer evert such as fairs, member meetings, customer farm visits etc. Skira offers a secure platform for our customers in terms of payment and quality of the goods.

In your role the whole value chain is within scope so you will take part in the customer's whole journey from awareness to engagement, support in the use of the platform with selling/bidding on an ad all the way to completing delivery and receiving payment - a true unique sales opportunity with huge PL impact. You'll report directly to our head of sales.

We work mobile to a large extent, so you can plan and set-up your work freely so that they match your preferences and so you can create an environment for success and hitting your sales targets. It's a huge plus if you're creative and energetic, finding out of the box sales opportunities helping Skira to grow.

At the moment we have many different options on where you can sit, as we're supported by different incubators with access to co-working spaces in central Linköping, Norrköping, Västerås and of course our headquarters in Stockholm. You have the opportunity to sit at any of the locations but we have an amazing Skira-spirit that we want you to be part of, so we will prefer if you can sit in Stockholm.

 

Qualifications

We want you to have previous sales experience in some form and that you as a person:

  • Get energy from a challenge and can jump over any hurdle
  • Can work independently, still being part of a team
  • Thrive working with set goals and over achieving them
  • Are interested in our customer base, their professions, and help solving their problems.
  • Preferably has a connection to agriculture and farming. You maybe have a background as agronomist, lantmästare or Agriculture and Rural Management.
