We are looking for a curious and proactive student to join our team as a User Experience Intern in one of the most exciting fintech startups. We are based in the beautiful central location Rainmaking at Pier47 together with many other startups.

What will you do (with our guidance and support)

• conduct stakeholder interviews (internally) to define the needs and requirements for a product;
• conduct competitors’ analysis and user research to find out customers’ needs, pain points and get inspiration from others;
• collaborate with an IT team to identify technical constraints;
• generate ideas and suggest the functionality for the minimal viable product as well as the future versions;
• sketch, wireframe and draw mockups to show your ideas;
• test your designs with potential users and make changes based on feedback gathered;
• prototype and write UX specifications;
• design the user interface (only if it is part of your skillset).

You will work mostly on your own, with support and guidance of our User Experience Designer. You will collaborate with a developer, graphic designer and a marketing and communications specialist to ensure the final product is not only easy to use, but also feasible, marketable and visually pleasant. 

Who are you

• You are a student enrolled in multimedia design, user experience, user-computer interaction or similar programme;
• You are independent, like challenges and are happy to learn by doing;
• You are familiar with general User Experience concepts and methodologies, and have some experience in related activities (such as user testing, wireframing, writing UX specifications);
• You have some wireframing/prototyping tools under your belt and are ready to pick any missing skills or tools on the spot;
• You are curious, proactive, learn fast and are not afraid of little danish in your way.
