Our growing company is in need of an ambitious, highly motivated and structured Frontend Developer to maintain and improve NewGlue’s site. NewGlue is a tech-powered "Digital Branding Agency", giving small businesses access to several user-friendly tools to brand their business (logos, advertising, business cards etc).

About the Position

A front-end developer with a creative side and appreciation towards high-quality UI design.

Ability to write readable, modular and reusable code according to the latest standards and following best practices.

Ability to dive into design ideas and bring them to life by providing input and taking charge of interactivity and behavior.

You will ensure that the overall code is robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Experienced in responsive layouts, basic JS + jQuery, basic Ruby, basic knowledge of how fonts and SVGs work is a definite plus. Knowledge of development lifecycles including requirements definition, testing, design and architecture and proven ability to learn new technologies is a must. As a full-time team member, you would be working to improve constantly improve the site.

Tech stack:

• HTML5

• HAML (HTML abstraction markup language used in our templates provided by the backend API) is a plus

• Basic Ruby(Rails) knowledge is a plus

• CSS3 (SCSS) proficiency with fondness towards transitions and animations

• SVG animations experience

• Experience in object-oriented modern vanilla JavaScript (ES6/7) and jQuery

• Adobe XD experience is a plus

Developer experience

• At least 4 years of professional work experience.
