Donkey Republic is looking for an individual with experience in sourcing and supply chain management to work with us on bringing the future of bicycles and e-bikes onto the streets in cities across Europe.
Donkey Republic is operating hub-based micro mobility fleets in multiple cities across Europe. We spec and build our own bicycles and e-bikes as well as components for bicycles, and it will be your responsibility to ensure the company is working with the right partners to design, build and QA these vehicles. The role also goes beyond bicycles and items for bicycles, however these will be the main product focus.
We expect you have +3 years of experience with sourcing, negotiation and handling supply chain related tasks. You work in a structured way, pay attention to detail and don’t mind when things go fast. You may also have been involved in ISO certification programs and may also have experience working with suppliers in Asia.
You’ll be part of a company with a young and dynamic team, with an office centrally located in Copenhagen and with around 10 different nationalities. We are expanding and provide challenging tasks for people interested in developing, refining their skills and changing the way people move around cities.
About the role:
Title: Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager
Type: Position is full-time
Start: As soon as possible
Travel-days: 100-120 days/year
Areas of responsibility:
Procurement of bicycles, electric bicycles and other types of micro mobility devices, incl. specification/BOM, ordering, QA and shipping.
Warranty cases, after-sales support, handling faulty bike locks.
Supplier review, negotiation and follow-ups.
Other tasks related to sourcing and supply chain.
Language requirements:
Fluent in english; written and spoken is required.
Mandarin, written and spoken is preferred, but not required.
