Company Description

IPM is a young startup company founded in 2014 as a spinoff from the Department of Micro- and Nanotechnology at DTU. IPM’s main interest is to develop environmental sensors using patentable technology. IPM is currently focusing on developing and testing a commercial product that can provide continuous measurements of the pesticide level in water production facilities.

 

Project description

This position is a part of an EU project that IPM is currently engaged in. The project is funded by the Fast Track to Innovation program to develop a fully functional prototype for water quality control along with our EU partners. The project is currently running under a strict deadline with milestone deliveries. The candidate will focus on maturing the existing design, integrate feedback from our partner into the final design and conduct tests with the produced parts.

 

 

Qualifications

The successful candidate is a mechanical engineer with background and experience in product design. The ideal candidate has to be self-driven and strongly focusing on ensuring product development towards the market.

• 2 – 3 years experience in product design is required .

• Experience in design of injection molding, DFM/DFA and robustness.

• You need to be a super user of SolidWorks.

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and international environment.

• Ability and flexibility to work in a team, and being able to work independently.

• Excellent writing and communication skills.
