Would you like to develop a data warehousing solution for the no. 1 white label takeaway system provider in Europe? Then this is a unique opportunity for you to use your strong development skills and passion for data. You will be a part of BI team, responsible for gathering, storing, providing access and analysis of the firm’s data to aid stakeholders in decision making. As a data engineer you will take full ownership of ETL process to gather data from a variety of data sources and load it into a data warehouse, providing single source of truth for business reporting.

By providing takeaways with personalized, branded websites and mobile applications, we are ensuring that restaurants and chains don’t pay predatory commission to online food portals.

Key responsibilities for the Data Engineer include

• Full ownership of building and running a data warehousing solution

• Data from external sources integration into data warehouse

• Building and maintaining ETL pipelines

• Ensure data quality and consistency for BI reporting

• Building a data platform to support assisted decision making and advanced analytics

Formal requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or similar

• Minimum 3+ years of DW development experience with data warehouse solutions

• Hands on experience with Google BigQuery or Azure SQL Data Warehouse

• Mastery of C# and/or T-SQL and/or Python

• Experienced in using REST API’s and JSON

• Knowledge within statistical modelling, predictive models and machine learning is a plus
